Who we are

Gyldne Druer is a small, independent wine importer based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

We founded the company in 2021 with a simple ambition: to find great wines from small European producers and bring them to Denmark.

What we look for

We are drawn to producers with a strong identity and a genuine connection to their vineyards. Many of the wineries we work with are organic, biodynamic or low-intervention, but we are not guided by labels or dogmas.

First and foremost, the wine has to be good.

Our portfolio ranges from classic expressions to wines that are slightly harder to categorise. What they have in common is that they are wines we genuinely enjoy drinking ourselves.

How we work

We prefer meeting the people behind the bottles.

Every year, we travel through European wine regions to visit producers, walk the vineyards and taste the wines where they are made. These visits are an important part of how we select new producers – and of how we later introduce their wines to our customers in Denmark.

We currently import wines from various regions in France, Germany and Italy, and our portfolio continues to grow.

We sell our wines directly to private customers as well as through tastings, events and selected partners in Copenhagen and the rest of Denmark.

We are deliberately small and personal in the way we work. We know our producers, we know their wines, and we enjoy telling their stories.
